These Terms govern your use of community operations software maintained by John Paul Poliquit under the NextDecade project name, including tools for event administration, attendee verification, credit and certificate delivery, partner requests, organizer access, reporting, and follow-up workflows (the "Service").
The Service was built by a Cursor Ambassador to support real community operations, starting with Cursor Philippines activities. It helps organizers manage the work that happens around and after events, including confirming attendance, distributing credits or certificates, collecting submissions, supporting partners, and giving approved people the right access.
The Service is community-led and independently operated unless a written agreement says otherwise. Being a Cursor Ambassador does not mean the Service is operated by, endorsed by, or speaking on behalf of Anysphere, Inc., Cursor, or any other third-party tool provider. Cursor and other product names, logos, and marks belong to their respective owners.
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. About the Service and third-party names
The Service began as community infrastructure for organizers who needed a better way to manage event follow-through. A good community event does not end when people leave the room. Organizers may still need to verify attendance, send credits, issue certificates, collect project submissions, support partners, route feedback, and remember what happened.
The same workflows may support different developer-tool communities, tool providers, sponsors, schools, employers, and partner programs.
"Cursor" is made by Anysphere, Inc. Your use of Cursor or any other third-party product remains subject to that provider's own terms, policies, and account rules. For Cursor, see cursor.com/terms-of-service.
Unless a written partner agreement says otherwise, the Service is not official Cursor software and is not operated by Anysphere, Inc.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service as an organizer, partner, sponsor, administrator, or approved operator.
Attendees under that age may participate in supported events only with appropriate consent from a parent, guardian, school, organizer, or other authorized party, where required by law.
You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
3. Accounts and access
Organizers, partners, sponsors, and approved administrators may sign in with a one-time code sent to an approved email address or through another approved access method.
You are responsible for keeping your email account and devices secure. You are responsible for activity under your access.
We may grant, change, suspend, or revoke organizer, partner, sponsor, or administrator access when roles change, a program ends, we detect misuse, or we need to protect attendees, organizers, partners, providers, or the Service.

4. Credits, certificates, and partner offers
The Service may help distribute, track, or administer tool credits, referral links, certificates, partner grants, event rewards, sponsor offers, and similar benefits ("Perks").
Perks are not guaranteed. They may depend on event attendance, approval, identity matching, available inventory, provider rules, fraud checks, and partner or sponsor requirements.
- Perks may be limited, delayed, revoked, unavailable, expired, or replaced.
- Perks are provided "as is" and may have no cash value.
- A tool provider, sponsor, school, employer, or partner may impose separate eligibility rules, redemption rules, expiration dates, usage limits, account requirements, and fraud checks.
- We are not responsible for any code, link, certificate, offer, grant, account, or benefit that has expired, already been redeemed, been transferred, become unavailable, or been rejected by the provider.
5. Organizer, partner, and administrator responsibilities
If you use the Service as an organizer, partner, sponsor, administrator, or approved operator, you are responsible for ensuring that you have authority to submit, access, import, or process attendee, event, partner, sponsor, or program information.
You must not upload, import, or use personal information unless you have a lawful basis, consent, or other permission to do so.
You must use attendee, event, partner, sponsor, and program data only for approved community, event, partner, reporting, or Service-related purposes.
You must not sell, misuse, improperly export, or share data from the Service.
You are responsible for any event, program, partner, sponsor, or community commitments you make outside the Service.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- claim or attempt to claim a Perk you are not entitled to;
- submit false information, impersonate another person, or use another person's email address without permission;
- scrape, probe, scan, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass the Service's access controls;
- interfere with event operations, partner programs, email delivery, credit pools, certificate issuance, audit records, or reporting workflows;
- misuse attendee, organizer, partner, sponsor, or program data;
- upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the Service;
- use the Service in a way that violates law or another person's rights.
7. Information you provide
You keep your rights in information you provide to the Service.
You give us permission to process that information as needed to operate events, verify attendance, send transactional messages, provide organizer access, issue or track Perks, maintain audit records, support partners, generate reports, improve workflows, and protect the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
The Service may process personal information in the Philippines and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you acknowledge that personal information may be processed through infrastructure providers, analytics providers, email providers, event platforms, certificate tools, and other vendors described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Confidentiality and restricted information
Organizer, partner, sponsor, and administrator areas may contain non-public information, including attendee lists, email addresses, credit pools, certificate records, partner requests, sponsor information, project submissions, internal notes, audit logs, event performance, and program data.
You must not disclose, export, copy, publish, or share restricted information except as needed for approved event, community, partner, sponsor, or program operations.
You must take reasonable steps to protect restricted information you access through the Service.
9. Ownership of the Service
The Service, including its software, workflows, interfaces, designs, documentation, templates, reports, systems, and related materials, is owned by John Paul Poliquit, NextDecade, or their licensors.
These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service only for approved events, programs, partner workflows, sponsor workflows, or other authorized purposes.
You may not copy, sell, resell, sublicense, commercialize, or commercially exploit the Service unless we agree in writing.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or improvement requests about the Service, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation to you, unless we separately agree in writing.
10. Third-party services
The Service depends on third-party services, including infrastructure providers, database providers, hosting providers, analytics providers, email providers, event platforms, certificate rendering tools, content delivery networks, tool providers, sponsors, schools, employers, and partner entities.
These may include services such as Luma, Supabase, Vercel, PostHog, Google, Slack, Upstash Redis, and others described in our Privacy Policy.
We may add, replace, or remove providers as the Service changes.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party platforms, outages, API changes, account decisions, eligibility rules, provider-side rejections, or any third-party decision to delay, revoke, reject, expire, or modify credits, certificates, links, accounts, offers, or other Perks.
11. Beta and pilot features
Some parts of the Service may be experimental, in beta, or offered as part of a limited pilot.
Beta or pilot features may change, fail, produce incomplete records, or be discontinued at any time.
We may limit access to beta or pilot features at our discretion.
12. Records and backups
Unless we separately agree in writing, the Service is not the official system of record for any event, partner program, school program, employment program, sponsorship, grant, credit pool, certificate program, or community program.
You should keep independent records where required for compliance, accounting, school, partner, sponsor, employment, tax, or program purposes.
We do not guarantee that any event page, attendee record, certificate link, credit record, submission, report, or partner flow will remain available forever.
13. Service changes and availability
We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
We do not guarantee that the Service, any event page, any credit pool, any certificate link, any report, any integration, or any partner flow will remain available.
You may stop using the Service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, create risk for attendees, organizers, partners, sponsors, providers, or the Service, or if your role or program access ends.
14. Supplemental terms and partner agreements
Certain events, programs, pilots, partner workflows, sponsor offers, grants, or Perks may have additional terms, eligibility rules, privacy notices, or written agreements.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a written agreement signed by us for a specific program, the written agreement controls for that program.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a third-party provider's rules for a Perk, the provider's rules control for that Perk.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, timely, accurate, complete, or free of error.
You rely on the Service at your own discretion.
16. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOHN PAUL POLIQUIT, NEXTDECADE, COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND SERVICE OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OPPORTUNITY, PERKS, CREDITS, CERTIFICATES, LINKS, OFFERS, OR PROGRAM BENEFITS, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including mandatory consumer rights where they apply.
17. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and hold harmless John Paul Poliquit, NextDecade, community volunteers, contributors, and Service operators from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from:
- your misuse of the Service;
- your violation of these Terms;
- your violation of law;
- your violation of another person's rights;
- your submission or use of information you did not have permission to provide;
- your misuse of attendee, organizer, partner, sponsor, or program data;
- your event, partner, sponsor, or program commitments outside the Service.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms.
When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the Service after the update means you accept the revised Terms.
19. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
If you use the Service from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, you retain any mandatory rights that apply under your local law.
